Second Stakeholder Workshop
Location: Online
Start: 2 Dec 2022, 2 p.m.
Finish: 2 Dec 2022, 5 p.m.
Event Description
The aim of this workshop is to present our initial findings and discuss how these could best be used for a positive impact on migrants’ lives, community cohesion and policy-making. We want to learn from practitioners, policy makers and academics what outputs would be most useful for them, and give them the opportunity to contribute to our further work on the project and to meet and network with others working on this topic.
At the workshop we will:
- Present our initial findings from: interviews with migrants and community organisations; analysis of representations of Germans and Poles in the British media; and community engagement workshops conducted in Birmingham and Nottingham.
- Introduce the new Ukrainian strand of the project, which extends our research to Ukrainians living in the UK.
- Discuss plans for different outputs in the form of academic publications, policy papers, school resources, an exhibition and community engagement events.
